Buddhist Connection Tour India is an 11-day Buddhist pilgrimage that covers the most important Buddhist sites in India. The tour starts in Delhi and takes you to Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon. You'll also visit Bodh Gaya, where the Buddha attained enlightenment, and Kushinagar, where he passed away. The tour also covers Rajgir, Sravasti, Lumbini, and Varanasi.

Tour Itinerary

01 Day 01 : Delhi Arrival
Upon arrival at Airport / Railway station Delhi, Company representative will meet you at Airport for welcome and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Delhi.

02 Day 02 : Delhi - Lucknow
Morning transfer to railway station to board Shatabdi express. for Lucknow, Arrive Lucknow and After lunch drive to Sravasti by road, reach Sravasti and Check in hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

03 Day 03 : Sravasti - Lumbini
Breakfast and visit Saheth-Maheth. Later drive for Lumbini - on the way visit Kapilavastu - The holy soul of prince Siddharth (Gautam Buddha) spent his childhood. Arrival Lumbini and transfer to hotel . Dinner and overnight at hotel.

04 Day 04 : Lumbini - Kushinagar
Breakfast and visit Birth place of Lord Buddha , Later drive for Kushinagar - place where the Buddha finally attained Mahaparmirvana. reach kushinagar and check in to hotel . Afternoon visit Mahaparinirvana Temple , Ramabhar Stupa and Cremation site of Lord Buddha . Dinner and overnight at hotel.

05 Day 05 : Kushinagar - Patna
Breakfast and Morning drive to Patna enroute visit Vaishali take lunch box. On arrival Patna and transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

06 Day 06 : Patna - Rajgir - Bodhgaya
After breakfast drive to Bodh Gaya on the way visit Rajgir and Nalanda.also Gridhakuta Hill. reach Bodh Gaya and check in Hotel Dinner and overnight at hotel.

07 Day 07 : Bodhgaya
After Breakfast and Visit Mahabodhi Temple and Niranjana River. Lunch & Dinner at Hotel. overnight at hotel.

08 Day 08 : Bodhgaya - Varanasi
After Breakfast leave for Varanasi, take lunch box. Arrival Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Later visit Sarnath Temple and the Deer Park, also see modern temple. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

09 Day 09 : Varanasi - Delhi
Early morning boat ride on the river Ganges and also see the Ghats. Back for Breakfast at hotel. Later transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

10 Day 10 : Delhi
After breakfast start for sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi : OLD DELHI - visit Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Jama Masjid, Red fort. NEW DELHI - visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Night stay in Delhi.

11 Day 11 : Delhi Departure
After breakfast, As per your flight time Transfer to airport for onward journey with sweet and wonderful memories of Buddhist Connection Tour.

Kushinagar

Mahaparinirvana Temple

Sravasti

Jetavana Monastery
Sravasti was one of the most beloved cities of Lord Buddha, where he spent 24 rainy seasons preaching and meditating. The Jetavana Monastery, gifted by the wealthy merchant Anathapindika, became a key spiritual retreat for the Buddha and his followers.

Lumbini

Maya Devi Temple
Though located in modern-day Nepal, Lumbini is just across the Indian border and is an integral part of the Buddhist Circuit in India. It is the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, who later became the Buddha. The Maya Devi Temple marks the exact spot where Queen Maya gave birth to the Buddha.

Vaishali was the place where Lord Buddha gave his last sermon before traveling to Kushinagar. It was also where he accepted women into the monastic order, making it historically important for gender equality in Buddhism. Vaishali was a vibrant center for both Buddhism and Jainism.
